A wonderful addition to pots and alpine beds, or simply dotted along the front of a sunny border, this diminuitive ornamental onion puts on great display in early summer when the open clusters of rich pink to purple flowers appear. Plant them in clusters and leave them undisturbed so they will form naturalised drifts.
- Garden care: Plant bulbs 6cm deep and 6cm apart to enjoy the full effect of the flowers. Avoid excessive soil moisture, and split and divide large clumps in autumn or spring.
- CAUTION do not eat ornamental bulbs
