Striking sky blue flowers, up to 3cm across, are produced from late spring to early summer on this matt forming, mainly-evergreen perennial. Found growing in sunny alpine meadows and moorland, they are perfect for an alpine bed. Alternatively try potting them up and placing them on a patio where you can enjoy them close up, or use them for softening the edges at the front of a mixed border.
- Garden care: In areas where the summers are hot and dry, they will need protection from the sun during the hottest part of the day.
